Estihana to Open in Teaneck

Manhattan’s well known Japanese restaurant is coming to Teaneck. Estihana, already with a second location in Brooklyn is expanding to Cedar Lane in the space formally occupied by Chan’s, Esme Bistro & Shalom Hunan’s. The Asian fusion restaurant is well known for their Japanese cuisine as well as culinary creations from Malaysia and Vietnam. Koshertopia staff have been told the restaurant should be open for business in two weeks. Stay Tuned for further details.





Ima in Teaneck Under Supervision Again

Israel’s well known restaurant ‘Ima’ is back in our Teaneck listings. Ima Restaurant (455 Cedar Lane, Teneack) is now under the supervison of the OK (Organized Kashrut Laboratories). They are well known in Israel for their open flame grill and Israeli cuisine, hopefully they have brought this skill with them to their Cedar Lane location.

Shalom Bombay Opens

The First Glatt Kosher Indian restaurant has expanded with the opening of their Manhattan location at 344 Lexington Ave this week (between 39th & 40th) under the supervision of the OU. They are open for lunch (buffet) dinner and will be open Saturday night in the Fall. Offering a wide range of authentic Indian dishes including sizzling meats, over 20 vegetables dishes and Indian bread from a special Tandoori oven.

Koshertopia has confirmed that The Pasta Factory in Teaneck has officially changed its name to NoBo Wine & Grill. NoBo (North of Bagota), the only kosher restaurant in Bergen County to offer liquor, is boasting a new chef & menu.

Koshertopia has confirmed that the famous Ima restaurant from Jerusalem has just opened a branch in Teaneck. The restaurant is located on Teaneck’s famous Kosher Mile, at 445 Cedar Lane. The restaurant will offer homemade Mediterranean meat, stuffed vegetables, barbecue meats, homemade hummus and other specialty dishes.
