It’s in the final stages of completion – Prime Butcher Baker, or “BB Prime” will be the fourth location in New York for the The Prime Group. Koshertopia has confirmed that their latest endeavor is located at 1572 Second Avenue (between 81st & 82nd). The store will offer fresh cuts of meat, fish, a range of home-syle food as well as freshly baked pastries and breads. The store will be supervised with the Orthodox Union (OU).

Prime Grill’s newest location, Prime KO is rumored to have a soft opening before Pesach. The new restaurant at 217 West 85th Street is currently in the final stages of renovation. Koshertopia staff was taken on an exclusive tour and is impressed with the space. This latest high-end restaurant is certainly going to be well received. Official opening is set for after Pesach.
Koshertopia announced back in October 2009 and January of this year that Prime Grill was opening a new location on the Upper West Side. The location at 217 West 85th Street (off Broadway) is close to completion and our sources inform us a grand opening is around the corner. Prime KO will be a moderately priced Japanese Steakhouse with a full sushi bar. There are 2 party rooms available that can accommodate up to 100 people and restaurant capacity is up to 160 people. Prime KO will also be offering prepaid Shabbat meals every week.
