Prime Grill – Butchery & Bakery to Open on UES

Koshertopia has confirmed that their latest endeavor will be unique amongst the kosher scene in New York City. The Prime Hospitality Group is close to finishing construction on a butchery & bakery. The store will be supervised with the Orthodox Union (OU).





GoodFellas almost ready

GoodFella'sKoshertopia has confirmed that GoodFellas located at 17 Trinity Place (between Morris & Exchange) is nearing completion. They will offer a variety of dairy lunch favorites – sandwiches, personal pizzas, soups & salads. Goodfellas will be supervised Cholov Yisroel with the Orthodox Union (OU).

Pitopia Open…Finally

Koshertopia has confirmed that Pitopia has opened at 1369 Broadway (at 37th St.) under the supervision of the Orthodox Union (OU). The vegetarian restaurant boasts a hummus and falafel bar as well as an array of sandwiches and fresh drinks.





Sushein Opens

Conveyor Belt SushiWe are excited to share the opening of Sushien – Manhattan’s first Kosher Conveyor Belt Sushi restaurant. Located close to Manhattan Court District at 325 Broadway Sushein is under the supervision of the Orthodox Union (OU). The concept restaurant offers an an array of sushi along with a vast Asian grill menu. The restaurant offers 70 seats with a bar and booths as well.





Milk Street Cafe Finally Ready

Its finally ready! Koshertopia has confirmed that Boston’s favorite Kosher cafe, Milk Street is opening this Thursday. The new 23,000 square foot gourmet food hall is opening at 40 Wall Street (Trump Building). Milk Street is under the supervision of the  OU and maintains 3 separate kitchens (milk, meat & pareve). The cafe boasts several gourmet food stations including: a barista station, made-to-order breakfasts, made-from-scratch breads, desserts and pastries, pasta bar, Asian specialties, sushi bar, two create-your-own salad bars (one vegetarian, one not), homemade soups, a grill, a rotisserie and a carving station.

Mendy’s Deli at Javits Center

Mendy's Deli @ Javits CenterKoshertopia has confirmed that Mendy’s, the largest independently owned kosher restaurant chain in the US has its own kiosk open for select trade shows (10:00am – 3:00pm) downstairs across from the food courts. The kiosk will offer sandwiches, soups, salads  & more.





Milk Street Cafe Slated to Open

Koshertopia has confirmed the much awaited opening of Downtown’s newest Kosher eatery, Milk Street Cafe located at 40 Wall St. will be June 13th. Milk Street will be supervised by the OU and will offer Meat, Dairy and Pareve options.

Ima Restaurant Reopens its Doors

Ima Restaurant located at 445 Cedar Lane in Teaneck has reopened and is Glatt Kosher under the Supervision of the OU (Orthodox Union). First reported by Kosher topialast year, Ima has opened, closed, switched supervision from the RCBC, to the OK and also operated with no supervision. Ima is an Israeli Mediterranean style restaurant with a touch of Jewish-Kurdish cooking.

Mike’s Pizzeria & Cafe – EXCLUSIVE

It’s nearly ready! Koshertopia staff had an exclusive walk through of the new Mike’s Pizzeria & Cafe with Chef Owner Michael Gershkovich. The new location, under the supervision of the OU (Orthodox Union) located at 35 West 36th Street (between Fifth & Sixth Avenue) will open before the end of the year (walk-in’s only) according to Mike. When asked how to describe the new restaurant, Mike simply said “clean & honest with a big focus on pizza.”
