From West to East. The popular 72nd St. falafel bar, Soom Soom has opened their East Side location at 672 Lexington Ave (56th St) under the supervision of Rabbi Aharon Mehlamn (National Kosher Supervision). The new location offers a similar healthy Israeli menu as the original store.
Back in 2010 we were first to share the news that Manhattan’s famous 2nd Ave Deli was opening its second location on the Upper East Side. Koshertopia has confirmed that the Deli is close to opening at 1442 First Avenue (at 75th St.). Kosher Dining options in the Upper East Side are once again expanding. Like the 33rd Street location, the new Deli will be under the Supervision of the Cup K (Rabbi Israel Mayer Steinberg).
The original Shalom Bombay is closing its door permanently this coming Sunday. New Jersey residents will have to come over the bridge to enjoy their Indian. Management shared with us that catering in NJ will still be offered via the Manhattan location.
Fresh and environment conscious is the motto of Crisp – the popular falafel chain that is now kosher. Offering a combo of centuries-old Mediterannean food favorites with today’s nutrition-packed add-ins. Koshertopia has confirmed that the following locations of Crisp, 110 West 40th St. (between 6th & Broadway), 684 3rd Avenue (caorner of 43rd), as well as Crip on Wheels are supervised under the Cup K (Rabbi Israel Mayer Steinberg).

Koshertopia has confirmed that Green Olive in midtown has switched their supervision from the OK to Cup K (Rabbi Israel Mayer Steinberg).

Koshertopia has confirmed that after a brief closing, Shalom Bombay in Manhattan has re-opened for business as normal. As an added bonus to the many lunch goers they are now offering an expanded lunch buffet.
As one opens, one closes. Kosheropia has confirmed that the popular lunch spot Rosa’s Pizza has temporarily closed. Management informed our staff they are aiming to re-open this coming Friday.
