Hummus is the new favorite! The fast growing chain, Hummus Kitchen, is working on their newest store. Koshertopia has confirmed that Hummus Kitchen will soon open at 416 Amsterdam Avenue (corner 80th St.). With many options in the area already (Hummus Place, Alibaba etc.) some might be wondering the need for another Israeli inspired restaurant.
Another branch of the Hummus Kitchen is slated to open at 416 Amsterdam Ave. (at 80th St.) under the supervision of the International Kosher Council (IKC). Hummus Kitchen specializes in fresh, organic hummus. The menu is simple and healthy with a plethora of healthy options. They get their inspiration from Mediterranean cuisine.

Hummus Kitchen specializes in fresh, organic hummus. The menu is simple and folksy with a plethora of healthy options. They get their inspiration from Mediterranean cuisine. Like many of the kosher neighborhood options, they are now offering an expanded lunch buffet.

Did anyone say Waffles? Go for a Bite located at 120 West 3 Street is now under the supervision of the International Kosher Council (IKC). They are known for their original Belgium waffles and the #1 cream puff in the city. All of their desserts are freshly prepared in house in their intimate and inviting shop in the West Village.
Koshertopia announced on July 1st that Yogi’s kitchen at 182 Lexington Ave was under the supervision of the International Kosher Council (IKC). Koshertopia has since learned that Rabbi Harry Cohen of Orthodox Kashruth Supervision (OKS) is the correct supervisor of Yogi’s.
Koshertopia has confirmed that both locations of Pinisi Bakery (128 E. 4th St., off 1st Ave. & 18-20 1st Ave., between 1st & 2nd St.) are certified Kosher Dairy under the Supervision of International Kosher Council (IKC). Pinisi Cafe & Bakery is family owned & operated. All baking is done on premises to provide the freshest quality baked products.
Koshertopia has confirmed that Cocoa V, located at 174 Ninth Avenue in Chelsea is kosher under the supervision of the International Kosher Council (IKC). Cocoa V is an organic vegan chocolate boutique which offers a wide array of products including bon bons, truffles and barks, as well as cupcakes, brownies and cakes as well!
Koshertopia has confirmed that Yogi’s Kitchen has opened at 182 Lexington Ave (Between 31st & 32nd St.) under the supervision of the International Kosher Council (IKC). Yogi’s Kitchen is based on India’s ancient concept of holistic food. Yogi’s offers a healthy (nothing fried) homemade wholesome Indian menu.
Koshertopia has confirmed that The Juice Press located at 70 East 1st Street (Between 1st & 2nd Ave.) has opened under the supervision of the International Kosher Council (IKC). The Juice Press offers fresh juices and smoothies that are 100% organic, 99% vegan, raw and contain no soy. Smoothies can be made from a wide variety of natural ingredients including agave, yacon, stevia, or maple syrup sweetners, homemade hemp, almond, cashew and walnut milks. Raw salads and snacks to begin being served in August.
Koshertopia has confirmed that Terri at 64 W. 23rd St. is now under the Supervision of the IKC (International Kosher Council). Terri is 100% Organic and Vegan (Pareve) and offers a wide range of healthy sandwiches, wraps, fresh smoothies and juices.
