Another Hummus Kitchen? Yes! Koshertopia has confirmed that a new location will be opening at 2 West 14th Street (Corner of 5th Ave. & 14th St.). This new location, as well as all other locations are supervised under the International Kosher Council (IKC)
Hummus is the new favorite! The fast growing chain, Hummus Kitchen, is working on their newest store. Koshertopia has confirmed that Hummus Kitchen will soon open at 416 Amsterdam Avenue (corner 80th St.). With many options in the area already (Hummus Place, Alibaba etc.) some might be wondering the need for another Israeli inspired restaurant.
Another branch of the Hummus Kitchen is slated to open at 416 Amsterdam Ave. (at 80th St.) under the supervision of the International Kosher Council (IKC). Hummus Kitchen specializes in fresh, organic hummus. The menu is simple and healthy with a plethora of healthy options. They get their inspiration from Mediterranean cuisine.
Another branch of the Hummus Kitchen has opened at 444 3rd Ave. (between 30th & 31st) under the supervision of the International Kosher Council (IKC). Hummus Kitchen specializes in fresh, organic hummus. The menu is simple and folksy with a plethora of healthy options. They get their inspiration from Mediterranean cuisine. Like many of the kosher neighborhood options, they are now offering an expanded lunch buffet.

Koshertopia has confirmed that Green Olive in midtown has switched their supervision from the OK to Cup K (Rabbi Israel Mayer Steinberg).

Koshertopia has confirmed the Hummus Kitchen on 9th Ave (768 9th Ave.) is no longer under the Supervison of United Kosher Supervision (UKS). The Manager, Maor, reported to Koshertopia that indeed the meat that is being used is certified glatt, but the restaurant does not have supervision.
Hummus Kitchen on the Upper East Side remains kosher dairy under the UKS.
