Koshertopia announced on July 1st that Yogi’s kitchen at 182 Lexington Ave was under the supervision of the International Kosher Council (IKC). Koshertopia has since learned that Rabbi Harry Cohen of Orthodox Kashruth Supervision (OKS) is the correct supervisor of Yogi’s.
Koshertopia has confirmed that Yummy Yummy has opened at 667 Lexington Ave. (between 55th & 56th St.) under the supervision of Kehila Kashrut of Queens. Yummy Yummy, the self proclaimed ‘Kosher Veggie Bar’ offers a variety of healthy options including falafel, soup, borekas & salads.

Yogi’s Kitchen is based on India’s ancient concept of holistic food. Yogi’s offers a healthy (nothing fried) homemade wholesome Indian menu.
Koshertopia has confirmed that The Juice Press located at 70 East 1st Street (Between 1st & 2nd Ave.) has opened under the supervision of the International Kosher Council (IKC). The Juice Press offers fresh juices and smoothies that are 100% organic, 99% vegan, raw and contain no soy. Smoothies can be made from a wide variety of natural ingredients including agave, yacon, stevia, or maple syrup sweetners, homemade hemp, almond, cashew and walnut milks. Raw salads and snacks to begin being served in August.
Koshertopia has confirmed that David’s (formally Avi & David’s) the popular 24 hour dairy eatery on the East Side has temporarily closed. The restaurant, which had been for sale, was a popular lunch spot for weekend shoppers. Stay tuned for more details.

Koshertopia has confirmed that NY Lunchbox is opening a new location at 844 Second Avenue (corner of 45th St.). The new location which is set to open straight after Pesach will mimic the original location with the same menu – good tasting, quick and healthy fare. The new location will be Cholov Yisrael under the supervision of the OK.
