Edna’s Falafel Shop AKA Tahini AKA Chickpea..

Monday, September 14th, 2009

Kosher-NY got a tip that they once again changed their name and have recently picked up a hashgacha again. It seems that since they last had their kosher supervision they changed their name yet again to Edna’s Falafel Shop (but the sign still says Tahini…)

Despite their identity crisis, they are located at 23 3rd Avenue, between St. Marks Place and Stuyvesant Street in the East Village. They are under the kosher supervision of the Agudas Hamashgichim – Rabbi Harry Lax of Brooklyn, NY.

Maybe they change their name every few months to keep things fresh…who knows?! Lets hope this time they stick with what they’ve got.
