What Koshertopia has to say:

Formerly known as My Most Favorite Dessert Company and Restaurant Cafe, My Most Favorite Food is still just that. Truly, one of our favorites. Whether you're midtown before a show, or in the area for some late night dessert and drinks, this is the perfect restaurant for you. And now that they've changed their name, you surely won't skip over their delectable entrees in favor of their even tastier desserts.

Redone in all white and light colors, and TONS of windows, this place just glows with sunlight, add the delicious desserts, breakfasts, coffees and a management that really seems to LOVE the food they make and serve (here's lookin' at you, Dina and Amal!) and the new MMFF is a delight. A little pricey, but totally worth it for a treat.

A few weeks ago, my family and I decided to get together for lunch at My Most Favorite Food. My Mom was in an accident at the beginning of the summer and she is still recovering. This was her first outing, besides for doctors, since then. We knew that the restaurant that we chose had to be just the right one. We hit the nail on the head! We were a party of 8 and were seated at a large table in a nice corner. Cold, filtered water was constantly poured for us and bread baskets filled with the most delicious variety of breads were replenished as we asked. Most of us ended up ordering the soup of the day, which was a split pea soup. It was the most delicious, thick soup we had ever tasted. It was hard to believe that the soup was not a meat based soup. All of the main dishes, which included fish and chips, wild salmon salad, sandwiches and field green salads were enjoyed by all and eaten till the plates were clean. The portions were plentiful and presented beautifully. Only 2 family members ordered dessert since we were so full. The rhubarb pie was a big hit. The slice looked like it could feed at least 2 people. The wait staff was attentive and friendly. We even got to meet the owner, who walked around constantly making sure that everything was running smoothly. The only complaint that I have was about the air conditioning. It didn't feel like there was any air circulating through the restaurant. It was a very hot summer day and it should have felt cool and comfortable inside. On our way out, we stopped to admire the array of cookies, cakes and fancy pastries that were displayed in showcases for purchase. The majority of them were ones that could not be found in most kosher bakeries. I bought some of the French Macarons to try. They were light, airy and delicious! My family and I look forward to returning to My Most Favorite Food for another wonderful meal, very soon!!
