Tevere 84 is a gem on the Upper East Side. Fresh pasta, juicy lamb chops, and abundant veal dishes will satisfy the most refined palate. Meat lovers should try the Grigliata Mista di Carne, a generous sampling of lamb, veal, and chicken. But vegetarians, beware: veal based sauces cover almost all pasta dishes, making vegetarian options extremely scarce. The brick interior, intimate setting, and extensive wine menu make Tevere 84 perfect for any romantic rendezvous. But the cozy setting fills up fast, so remember to call ahead for a reservation. Superb food and a romantic atmosphere come with a price, and to pay that price you must bring your Amex or sufficient cash, because Tevere won't take anything else.

Fine quality meats and vegetables, great food and service, and romantic ambiance make this genuine Italian restaurant as close to perfect as you can get. All this and kosher too!
