This is our favorite date spot. beautiful atmosphere with plenty of intimate tables but also lots of group seating. Everything at Abigael's is a treat from the iced tea right on through the fabulous selection of desserts. The BBQ brisket eggroll is INCREDIBLE. Oh man, I just typed that and now I want one. They have a full bar that services the most delightful mixed drinks - the banana daquiri is garnished with a chocolate covered banana! The sea bass is amazing. Really, if you're looking for a fancy restaurant, Abigael's is the place to be. I dream about their food and wake up craving.

So I heard about Abigael's from a friend of mine in California and decided to visit when I got to New York. I mist say this was a good recommendation. From the time I walked in upstairs to the end of my meal. Even though I thought "this place is small" when I walked in from the upstairs...lol. They then directed me to downstairs. This place is huge and well worth the trip. Pleasant Hostess, my Waiter was courteous and knew the menu and recommended I try the Eggroll and the Blackened Steak. I was happy and then there was dessert. They have a dessert, I think it's called Giant Sundae or Enormous Sundae or something like that. There were 4 of us dining. My, my, my! This is a must have dessert when you dine there. It's $30 but huuuuggggeeeeeee. I mean it's a huge Sundae. Can't beat Ice Cream, brownies, banana, whipped cream and lots more on this thing. Ok, I love this place and will tell my friends they should visit and. Even if they only have to go for their Super Sized Ice Cream Sundae :)
