What Koshertopia has to say:

Yummy Yummy is one of the newest gems for kosher diners who work and live on the east side of Manhattan. Yummy Yummy offers a dairy Mediterranean menu, primarily focused on their highly touted falafel. Although their menu isn't necessarily ground breaking, it's their attention to detail that really sets them apart from like menu'd restaurants in the area.

I am beyond in love with this place. I've gone a few times, despite it being completely out of the way for me. I look for excuses to wind up in that area just so that I can eat there. To start: the food is amazing. They've got your typical "Israelis opening a restaurant" food, but then they have a ton of other healthy, delicious food. For example: fresh pumpkin soup. It is to die for. The service: so super quick, so super friendly. I feel bad for them, because they don't get much business at night time, so they'll close early if no one is there. My first time, they kept the place open just for me and sat and talked with me while I waited for some friends. They're very complimentary, as well. The place: It just looks clean and happy. It's designed like one of those healthy yogurt stores-- cutesie tables, green walls, peppy music. It just makes me happy sitting there. I love this place, and they just seem so happy to serve. I hope they get more business during the lunch hour. I've only gone around dinner, and it was not well-attended. Love, love, love this place.
